Badu at Jazz Fest was Hit or Miss… Either you were screaming for her or shouting for her to come off the stage. One of the most intense experiences for me!! Her music is so powerful and her performance was really the sultry, woman-around-the-microphone-with-her-drink, jazz experience that I love her for!!!
The people up front loved her!!!! And her liquid leather leggings, stiletto booties, top hat and slogan tee had them going crazy. Erykah Badu has a real big bumper and by the time the crowd (mostly women) recognized they were shouting “Erykah tun roun mek wi see yuh batty!!!!!!”, TURN AROUNDDD!!!!!”for the last 10 minutes of her set. I dont think she recognized that whole time that the crowd was so interested in her body.
