To Dagger or not to Dagger, that is the question?

The Jamaican Broadcasting Commission’s widespread ban on all songs with bleeps is a half-assed move. Indeed, the better artistes will be creative enough to make an good edited lyrical version and an unedited one for private play, but even social commentary dancehall and roots songs sometimes have words or sentences that are either profane or too politically or socially radical to be played on radio without edits.
Peter Tosh never spoke of daggering, but many of his songs require edits and bleeps.
